Storage Condition:
It thrives in a warm, humid environment; avoid exposure to draughts, direct sunlight, water and high humidity (high humidity can cause mould, whilst draughts can cause it to crack). When not in use, it is recommended that you store it in a sealed bag or its original wooden box.
Patina Change:
Initially, it appears yellowish-brown or dark brown; as it is handled over time, oils gradually seep out and oxidise, causing the colour to deepen gradually to an amber-like reddish-brown, whilst the lustre transforms from a dry, rough appearance to a fine, lustrous 'glass-like' finish.
